Marquesas Art Festival An art lover myself, I am curious while writing about this event. The Marquesas Art Festival was first organised in 1986 to celebrate the island’s culture and traditions. Occurring every 4 years, the festival rotates between the islands of Ua Pou, Nuku Hiva, and Hiva Oa. Visitors will enjoy many activities such as sports, songs, dancing, art and tattooing.
