DECEMBER Tiare Tahiti Day, 52nd edition Tiare Tahiti is the national flower of Tahiti. This event focuses on a special tribute to the nation’s symbolic flower. Various events will follow such as competitive decorations in businesses and public places in Papeete.

Marquesas Art Festival An art lover myself, I am curious while writing about this event. The Marquesas Art Festival was first organised in 1986 to celebrate the island’s culture and traditions. Occurring every 4 years, the festival rotates between the islands of Ua Pou, Nuku Hiva, and Hiva Oa. Visitors will enjoy many activities such as sports, songs, dancing, art and tattooing.
