About Moorea
Moorea is Tahiti’s sister island and is approximately 10 minutes away from Tahiti by plane or 30 minutes by ferry. Moorea is the ‘activities island’ and will suit travellers who enjoy a bit of adventures mixed in with tropical relaxation, as it offers a full range of water and land activities.
With a circumference of only 65km and a coastline served by a sealed road, Moorea can easily be circled in a single day by car, scooter or even bicycle. Lagoon excursions are a good way to explore Moorea’s treasures.
