Intercontinental Resort Tahiti

Set in 30 acres of tropical gardens, this luxury resort has a superbly romantic location lagoon side with spectacular views of Tahiti's sister Island, Moorea. Recently renovated and decorated in traditional Polynesian style, the resort offers a full range of rooms and bungalows, from garden view rooms to panoramic view rooms to over-water bungalows. All accommodations are air-conditioned, with television, hairdryer, mini-bar and all the amenities of an international deluxe resort.

Relax by the private white sand beach & lagoon or by the two freshwater �infinity� pools with cascades & jacuzzis or snorkel in the hotel�s lagoonarium. The resort also features two restaurants, bars, gift shop, cultural activities. Polynesian dance shows with live music are performed at night in the Te Tiare restaurant opening out on amazing water�s edge.

Rates are per room per night, occupied by two persons and include all taxes.
Most rooms can accommodate three to four persons at a small extra cost. For adult is generally about 12 to 37% of the room rate. Rates on request. Children see below.

92 Lagoon View Rooms	Smaller but still spacious and cosy, close to the central core of the resort with ocean views. Sleeps 2 adults in a King size bed or 2 adults and one child in twin beds plus a rollaway
60 Panoramic Rooms	The largest rooms, located at the most secluded lotus end of the resort. Rooms have 2 Queen size beds sleeping 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children
1 Suite Panoramic	The most sumptuous unit of the resort with lounge and dining room. Sleeps 2 adults in a King size bed
16 Bungalows Motu Over-water	Bungalows built in semi-circle around their own private little islet (called "motu" in Tahitian language). They are in front of the lagoonarium and main pool. All have ocean view, private terrace and sundeck with direct access to the clear water of the lagoon. 1 King size bed plus 1 single couch sleeps 2 adults + 1 child.
15 Bungalows Lagoon Over-water	Also called junior suites, these bungalows are the latest addition to the resort and were built at the lotus end of the resort over 3 metres of water. They features large bathrooms with spa bath and separate shower. All have ocean view, private terrace and sundeck with direct access to the clear water of the lagoon. 1 King size bed and a double couch, sleeps 3 adults or 2 adults + 2 children
1 Over-water Villa Motu	The only Over-water Suite of the island and a real achievement of luxury in Tahiti. 1 King size bed and 2 sofa beds, sleeps 4 adults or 3 adults + 3 children

In the heart of the hotel, the Te Tiare restaurant opens out towards Moorea, the lagoon and a spectacular swimming pool with cascades and jacuzzi. With its original "tapa" d�cor, the Te Tiare Restaurant has been conceived as a amphitheatre, with three levels to enjoy the Tahitian dance show performing three times a week on the water�s edge.

Near the white sand swimming pool, Le Lotus is an overwater restaurant offering an elegant and intimate atmosphere. This 3-star level Michelin Guide serves gourmet menus and refined service. Next to the Le Lotus is the only swim-up bar of the island. Quench your thirst with tropical cocktails and freshly squeezed island fruit juices.

Just a few steps from the Te Tiare restaurant and the swimming pool, the Tiki Bar offers international brands of liqueurs and spirits, imported and local beers, special tropical cocktails and freshly squeezed island fruit juices. It also propose Happy Hours with entertainment 4 nights a week.
