Keikahanui Nuku Hiva Pearl Lodge overlooks the bay
and village of Taiohae and the black sandy beach
lying 50 steps below. Each bungalow is built with
local materials and decorated by a different artist
from the area. Transfer from the airport to the
hotel takes 2 hours by 4 wheel drive or 7 minutes by
helicopter, followed by a five minute 4 wheel drive
to the hotel.
