Moorea Pearl Resort & Spa

The Moorea Pearl Resort & Spa, opened since June 28th 2002, is located at a short drive from the arrival points on the island (10 min from the airport and 15 from the ferries dock) and two miles away from the magnificent Cook's Bay.

This traditional Polynesian style hotel offers 28 overwater bungalows, 9 beach bungalows, 28 garden bungalows (18 withprivate pool) and 30 gardenview & family rooms. All feature ceiling fan, air conditioning, sundeck, coffee/tea makingfacilities, mini bar, hair dryer, safety box, TV with video channel, telephone.

This is the unique hotel in Moorea that offers garden bungalows with private pool, but guests may also enjoy the clear waterof our swimming pool, the largest one of the island. In addition, the overwater bungalows have a large sundeck and sitting area with direct access to the lagoon.

This charming "boutique hotel" is suitable for any type of clientele: families, divers, honeymooners� The hotel proposes 2 restaurants, "Le Mahanai" and the famous Gourmet restaurant "Le Matiehani", unique concept inFrench Polynesia, a dining room welcoming up to 12 persons maximum. Other facilities are available : the bar, 1 meetingroom, 1 boutique and a wide range of activities and excursions (on site diving center, spa). Rates are per room per night, occupied by two persons and include all taxes.
Most rooms can accommodate three to four persons at a small extra cost. For adult is generally about 8 to 19% of the room rate. Rates on request. Children see below

The hotel comprises 95 rooms as follows:

30 Garden rooms (22 garden and 8 family rooms)	The Garden Rooms and Family Rooms are set in an aesthetic two story thatch hotel block at the back of the property about 50 metres from the beach. 8 of the garden rooms feature a mezzanine and welcome up to 4 persons.
28 Garden Bungalows (10 regular and 18 deluxe)	The deluxe garden bungalows have a small private pool on the veranda. The Garden bungalows feature one king bed and one single bed and a patio with garden view. Located at the garden.
9 Beach Bungalows (3 regular and 6 deluxe)	All the beach bungalows are of identical interior design, the difference being location : 3 standard bungalows are located next to the restaurant, near the activities centre. 6 Deluxe bungalows are located on a lovely stretch of sand, right on the beach.
28 Overwater Bungalows (8 regular and 20 deluxe)	Overwater bungalows have a sundeck and sitting area with direct access to the lagoon. 8 Overwater Bungalows are also of the same interior design with Standard Bungalows facing the mountains with shallow lagoon and the 20 Deluxe overwater Bungalows facing the deep ocean offering more privacy.

Restaurant "Mahana'i" - Start your day in typical Polynesian surroundings with a tasty buffet breakfast where you'll find all the tastes and aromas of Moorea. They are a delightful combination of the flavours of France and the tastes of Polynesian cuisine, and no meal would be complete without one of the Pastry Chef's mouth-watering desserts. Special dinners and theme evenings: each Wednesday, a traditional show and fire dances and on Saturdays a full buffet from �The Sea�, complemented by a Polynesian show.

Gourmet Restaurant �Le Matiehani� - It's a place of refinement and artistry where you can imagine the chef setting out to seduce you with his exquisite gastronomic delights and his subtle blends of flavours. You'll enjoy with the taste sensations he combines with essences of Polynesia and the marriage of his creations with the most prestigious wines.

Bar "Autera'a" - The exotic setting of this poolside bar is the ideal place to enjoy such entertainment as how to make Polynesian marinated fish (Poisson cru), flower crowns and how to dance Tahitian-style. The terrace bar welcomes you to the shade of its umbrellas and to a relaxed mood all day long. From 12 noon to 4.30pm, choose from a range of light dishes and Polynesian specialties. At the end of the day you can choose something exotic from the cocktail menu to sip under the stars to the sounds of our Polynesian musical group, on Wednesday and Friday evenings.

Nestled in the heart of the resort, the Spa has been conceived and built in the pure tradition of Polynesian well-being and traditions. 4 masseuses and 1 masseur are at your entire disposal to make your massage an unforgettable moment The Manea Spa features: 1 hammam (steam bath), 3 massage rooms (each with two massage tables), 1 shower room with 4 jets, 1 room with Vichy shower (rain shower) (with two massage tables).
